Our all-volunteer coaching staff goes through an athletic
certification program provided by Special Olympics of Florida, Inc.
and practice with our athletes twice weekly.
Special Olympic activities include:
- Basketball
- Volleyball
- Golf
- Softball
Other activities provided:
- Monthly Arts & Crafts
- Relationship Training & Independent Living Skills Program
- Monthly Dances/Game Nights
- Day and Overnight Trips
- Bowling
- Job Training
- Monthly Pizza/Movie Night
- Community Participation

sports training and athletic competition in a variety of
Olympic-type sports for persons eight years of age and older with
mental retardation, giving them continuing opportunities to develop
physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and
participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their
families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community."
