Q. What can I do to help?
A. Naturally, we can always use donations, but if you really want to help, be a volunteer. Volunteers are the backbone of this organization.
Q. Can non-athletes with developmental disabilities join the Bulldogs?
A. Absolutely. We do not place restrictions on our special population. We provide many other services outside of athletics and we encourage your participation.
Q. Is my donation tax-deductible?
A. YES! We are an Internal Revenue Service recognized 501 (c) (3) charitable organization.
Q. I love sports but cannot afford uniforms or travel expenses.
A. As stated previously, all expenses (other than personal items) are paid for by the Bulldogs.
Q. Can my parents, friends, or relatives come to events?
A. Most definitely! We encourage visitors to come and see what we offer. Visitors are potential donors and/or volunteers.
Q. Can general population individuals be part of the organization and play Special Olympic sports with the Tamarac Bulldogs?
A. Absolutely! We have unified partners on our sports teams who are valuable mentors for our athletes . Our athletes are also valuable to our partners, teaching them awareness, compassion and fun!
